In 2020 I created a music utility app called “Kit Maker” with a partner. I concepted the app and its design, as well as all the branding and website. I created engaging videos through video and animation, which tell the story of the functionality of the software and communicate its value.
Kit maker solves the tedious task of manually adding drum sound audio files into the common 4x4 grid of playable drum pads for popular music devices.
It uses various methods to categorize the user’s audio files by drum type and places them in a particular layout in the grid of pads.
The benefit is that the user can go from having hundreds of drum audio files on their computer, to having a large collection of pre-assembled “drum kits” they can play.

The software has sold thousands of copies and received praise from some of the biggest companies in the music software industry, such as Akai MPC and Native Instruments.
